yummy stuff coming
I finally got around early enough to sign up for the produce coop in our area!
I paid $15 for a basket.. and it says we will get around $50 worth of goodies!
I am sooo excited..
I get to pick it up Saturday morning..
Definately will get pics of the goods.
Can't wait to see what I get.. I'm sure there will be stuff I've never bought before.. It's like my birthday!!

Easter joggin
Guess what!!!
I am down another pound..
this is the lowest I have been in forever.. ok..
well.. since I had kids..
eee!!!!
I am totally loving my WW's meetings.
My leader is so encouraging and sweet!
I am now.. one pound away from getting my 5 pound star.. my third.. so that will be 15 pounds people!
and I am also four pounds away from getting my 10%!
that is soooo close!!
I can't wait..
I had hoped to get it by the end of this month.. but with a week to go.. I don't think it will happen for this chubbybutt..
But it's there
it's looking at me
it's mocking me
it's teasing me
I will get it!
Easter..
Ate some crap.. which I'm not proud of. But did pretty well.. for having all that chocolate and stuff around.
I did have a piece of cheesecake.. mmmmm it was soooo worth it..
Then..
I spent a great evening with the teenager.. well.. I jogged with my ipod.. she rode her bike, with her ipod..
But we still got some mommy daughter time..
I started again at my house.. and jogged..
get this..
2.82 miles.. to the rec center where I always work out.. It was closed.. but I still made it all the way there.. on my feet..
Then jogged back!
for a total of 5.64 miles. I think I am on track for my weekly fitblogger challenge of 15 miles per week..
walking some of the time to catch my breath.. but jogging most of the time.. yes, I'm still slow..
but I'm jogging!

yup.. the deer.
I saw this lil cutey in a field and had to click a pic (on my phone.. so it sucks)
then it walked across the street and joined two more deer to play in someone's yard for a bit.
They are so peaceful and pretty..
Love the random wandering deer..
Shes kinda hard to see.. but if you look closely.. :)

Failing
I feel like I am failing already.
I haven't lost the weight I wanted to.
I truly wanted to be at my 10% goal by the end of April. and I am not even close.

I need a reboot.. now!
I think I will just start my ww plan over. from day one.

wanna see sumpin funny?
k.. so I had to get a new swimsuit.. if you remember the post here with last year's suit.. that somehow grew two sizes too big..
so. I am cheap. and I know this may gross some out.. but we went thrift store shopping.. not looking for suits.. but found a whole rack.. for $5 each..
me and my girls all got one. :)
and the one I got fits. really..
and it's kinda cute.
and it was five bucks.
I washed it of course.. twice..
but hell.. I'm broke. I'll do what I can.

still going!
I am still racking up the miles..
thanks to Fitblogger's weight challenge.. I have lifted weights and jogged my guts out!
I have slacked on the good eating and gained a pound.. but I got lazy.
I ate snacks.. not good snacks.. didn't track.. excuses.. I could go on..
but I won't
I will celebrate the success I had..
I hit the pavement twice this week.. er.. last week?
I played on the treadmill, the bike, the elliptical and yes.. with the dumbbells!
I had a great time... walking my doggies.. jogging along behind my kids on their bikes..
I racked up 72 activity points.. not too shabby..
I used the 15 pound dumbbells.. every time! and rocked my lifts..
I am dying to win the awesomesauce prize for all this work!
not only will I be skinny and rock hard..

struggling
I have been so busy lately.. I am a new member of a crazy amazing stamping design team.. I love love love it!!
I have been trying to workout how I am supposed to. but for some reason time just isn't letting me.
or my calf.
Sunday.. on my awesome lil four + mile jog..
I managed to hurt myself.
I think it was due to it getting waaay cold on my way home and my muscles got stiff.. but I kept going..
so me thinks I strained my calf muscle.
it hurts like hell..
well.. it did.
I limped through the week.
managed a bike ride yesterday.. then a few laps on the track.. I did get two jogging laps in.. so.. I think it's getting better..
but seriously? I don't need excuses to be lazy!
I have 50 activity poins so far this week.. so I suppose that's not horrible.. but I want more dammit! :)
upper body in the gym today..

a bit of ff cottage cheese, some cucumber and tomato.. some pepper, mrs dash, lettuce, and grapes :)

Challenges
I am making progress on my Fitblogger challenge..
ok.. challenges...
First is the weight training challenge..
This one is awesome! There is a whole printout for the 12 weeks that you can just take with you to the gym. Yes.. I look like a total ass when I'm marking my little boxes with my reps and weight.. but I don't care. I'm rocking this!
One funny for ya..
so.. I got all bodybuilding n stuff.. I grabbed the barbell from the weight bench.. I thought.. holy shiz this is heavy.. and it's just the bar.
Oh well. I added two ten pound weights and proceeded to do some bench presses.. Whew! I managed 3 sets of 12.
wahoo!!
huffing and puffing.. a lil red faced.. I tried to do some curls.
Big no go!
I took off the 10 pounders and yelled at them some.
Added two 5 pounders.
Still frekin heavy.
but I managed 3 sets of 8..
not too shabby..
for a girl.
a fat girl.. I add..

after a few more reps of stuff... I am totally dying.
I decide to walk my happy ass to the scale and see how much this damn bar weighs.
I struggle to get it on the scale on it's end.. might I add it's about 3 feet taller than me?

it weighs 40 frekin pounds!
yup.. I benched 60 pounds!
I rock!!!

Moving on to the mileage challenge...
I've slowly been adding my time and speed..
according to log your run I've jogged about 10.5 miles so far this week. I have until Wednesday to get that 4.5 miles.. I'm right on track me thinks...
I took the kidlets for a stroll yesterday.. Well.. they biked.. I jogged..
lemme tell ya.. jogging on the pavement is harder than the cushiony treadmill...
my calves are not happy with me..
I wanted to get out in the fresh air.. even if it was nipply...
I jogged from my house to the middle of the small city.. I just tracked it.. it was 2.08 miles each way..
4.16 miles of fun!

Teeter tottering is great for squats!
yup.. I jogged in the snow.. with no jacket :) I'm bad ass that way.
so.. I'm off to enter to win that Mytrak.. I neeeeeeed that thing!! lemme tell ya!

I have a plan!
Finally!
I have some sort of organization in my brain!!
I have always just exercised.. not really planning out what I'm going to do, how much or how often. Just exercising..
So.. I have the benefit of the webiverse to push my arse in gear!..
here I go..
first.. I'm doing this for 12 weeks... hopefully to win a Mytrak.. I soooo need one but don't have the fundage..

Then I found the awesome weigh training plan.. same site. fitblogger weight training
there is great info.. some aweome printable charts to help keep track of my workouts (which I love love love)
this is also 12 weeks..
I am going to be spectacular looking by summer!
Maybe I can talk my hunkaman into joining me in the weight lifting part!
How amazing does it feel to have a plan. And to be able to accomplish it? I can't wait to hit the gym today!
Zumba and spinning classes tonight with the teenager! woohoo!!
Oh.. and I am going to take more pictures.. of stuff.. :)
